Sherry Lou Judd, born on June 18th, 1941, has passed away on May 3rd, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion and - undoubtedly - the best pies in town.

Her surviving family and friends are still deeply committed to her memory: they include her husband Bryan Judd, whom she married on October 11th, 1958; her son Monte Judd and his wife Donna; her daughter Lisa Parrish and her husband Gator Parrish; another daughter Leslie Reynolds with her loving husband Les. In addition to that, Sherry is survived by her brother Larry Ridgway and his wife Karen, David Ridgway with his wife Gwen. Her grandchildren Jennifer, Brittany, Valerie, Tyler, Leanna and Carly will forever cherish the fond memories they have shared with their grandmother. Furthermore, Sherry leaves behind three great-grandchildren: Andy, Frankie and Elyse, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She also had a special place in her heart for all of her fur-babies.

Sherry's loved ones who have preceded her in death are, Paul Ridgway (father), Geraldine Ridgway (mother), sister Paula Truitt and Bret Davis (son-in-law).

Over the course of Sherry's professional life, she worked for ten years as Credit Manager at Montgomery Wards. Additionally, she devoted twelve years as Church Secretary at Mimosa Lane Baptist Church.

Baking was one of Sherry's passions and talents; she had earned a well- deserved reputation in her community as "The Pie Lady" until finally deciding to retire in 2007. She also enjoyed reading books, spending time with family and friends while dining out for lunch or challenging herself by playing dominos or doing puzzles.

Her life will be celebrated at Inspiration Church located at 1233 N Belt Line Rd, Mesquite, TX 75149 on May 9th, 2023. There will be a Visitation starting at 10:00 AM which will conclude at 11:00 AM. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation and start at 11:00 AM.  The burial will take place after the service in New Hope Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens located in Sunnyvale, TX which is scheduled to start at approximately 12:30 PM.

Sherry Lou Judd's legacy will forever remain in the hearts and memories of those who loved her. She will truly be missed but never forgotten by those close to her.
