Sara Oleta Brockway

Sara Oleta Brockway, age 98, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022. 

She was born November 4, 1924, in Terrell, Texas to Erin Liston Piper and Earl Piper.

She was a 1941 graduate of Terrell High School. She ran the Card Boutique Hallmark store

In Terrell for 30 years. After closing her store, she enjoyed going with the girls to the casinos in Oklahoma and Louisiana. Sara was a prolific painter of outdoor scenery, and used postcards from her grandchildren's vacations as subjects. Being the youngest of six siblings and 98 (the same age as her mother was when she passed) almost everyone preceded her in death, including her son Charles Richard Brockway.
