Mario Alejandro De la Paz

Mario Alejandro De la Paz, un querido hijo, hermano, nieto y amigo, falleció el 1 de enero de 2025 en Forney, Texas, a la edad de 18 años. Nacido el 10 de octubre de 2006 en México, el espíritu de Mario era vibrante y lleno de vida, lo que se reflejaba en sus pasiones y en los estrechos lazos que formaba con quienes lo rodeaban.

 Como estudiante de último año en Wills Point High School, Mario ejemplificó la esencia de la juventud, involucrándose activamente con sus amigos y familiares. Sus intereses incluían montar a caballo y asistir a coleaderos (rodeos), actividades que le permitieron conectarse con sus raíces culturales y disfrutar del aire libre. Tenía una afición especial por trabajar junto a su primo Toto, abrazando los desafíos y las recompensas del trabajo duro. 

 Mario y Fernando nunca fueron uno sin el otro. Discutían como lo hacen los hermanos, pero la forma en que se respaldaban mutuamente era inigualable. Incluso hasta el final, ambos se abrazaron, Trakas.

 El legado de Mario será recordado por su amorosa familia, incluyendo a su madre, Oralia De La Paz, y su hermana, Sofia De La Paz, ambas de Terrell, TX. También le sobreviven sus abuelos, María Luna y Antonino De La Paz de Terrell, TX. Sus tías y tíos incluyen a Jesús y Martha De La Paz de Terrell, TX, Alicia y Raúl Acevedo de Kaufman, TX, Blanca y Alonso Hurtado de Terrell, TX, Juan y Maricela De La Paz de Terrell, TX, María y Manuel Hernández de Terrell, TX, Romelia y Rodolfo García de Piedras, COAH, México, Antonio y Carolina De La Paz de Cantón, TX, Yesenia de la Paz de Piedras, COAH, México, Nereida y Ricardo Diera de Kaufman, TX y Martha y Héctor Conejo de Terrell, TX. Mario también es recordado por 56 primos y primos segundos que lo adoraban y por toda una comunidad eclesiástica.

 A Mario le precede en la muerte su querida tía, Amalia De La Paz, quien siempre será recordada por aquellos que la apreciaron.

 Mario Alejandro De la Paz será recordado con cariño y muy extrañado por todos aquellos cuyas vidas tocó, dejando un legado de amor, pasión y espíritu indomable.

 La familia desea expresar su más profunda gratitud a la familia extendida, amigos y a toda nuestra comunidad por el apoyo que les han mostrado durante este momento tan difícil. Su amor, oraciones y generosidad han significado mucho para ellos.

 Se invita a la familia y amigos a presentar sus respetos durante los servicios de visitación el 10 de enero de 2025, de 6:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m. en Anderson Clayton Funeral Home, ubicada en 301 W Nash St, Terrell, TX 75160. Al día siguiente, 11 de enero de 2025, se llevará a cabo un servicio funerario en el gimnasio de la escuela secundaria Wills Point, comenzando a la 1:00 p.m. y concluyendo a las 2:00 p.m.

Mario Alejandro De la Paz, a cherished son, brother, grandson, and friend, passed away on January 1, 2025, in Forney, Texas, at the age of 18. Born on October 10, 2006, in Mexico, Mario's spirit was vibrant and full of life, reflected in his passions and the close bonds he formed with those around him.

As a senior at Wills Point High School, Mario exemplified the essence of youth, engaging actively with his friends and family. His interests included riding horses and attending coleaderos (rodeos), activities that allowed him to connect with his cultural roots and enjoy the outdoors. He held a special fondness for working alongside his cousin Toto, embracing the challenges and rewards of hard work. 

Mario & Fernando were never one without the other. They argued as brothers do, but the way they had each other’s back was unmatched. Even till the end, they both held one another, Trakas.

Mario’s legacy will be remembered by his loving family, including his mother, Oralia De La Paz, and his sister, Sofia De La Paz, both of Terrell, TX. He is also survived by his grandparents, Maria Luna and Antonino De La Paz of Terrell, TX. His aunts and uncles includes Jesus and Martha De La Paz of Terrell, TX, Alicia and Raul Acevedo of Kaufman, TX , Blanca and Alonso Hurtado of Terrell, TX, Juan and Maricela De La Paz of Terrell, TX, Maria and Manuel Hernandez of Terrell, TX, Romelia and Rodolfo Garcia of Piedras, COAH, Mexico, Antonio and Carolina De La Paz of Canton, TX, Yesenia De La Paz of Piedras, COAH, Mexico, Nereida and Ricardo Diera of Kaufman, TX and Martha and Hector Conejo of Terrell, TX. Mario is also remembered by 56 cousins and second cousins who adored him and by a full church community.

Mario is preceded in death by his beloved aunt, Amalia De La Paz, who will forever be remembered by those who cherished her.Mario Alejandro De la Paz will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all whose lives he touched, leaving behind a legacy of love, passion, and indomitable spirit.

The family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation services on January 10, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Anderson Clayton Funeral Home, located at 301 W Nash St, Terrell, TX 75160. A Funeral Service will be held the following day, January 11, 2025, at the Wills Point High School Gymnasium, commencing at 1:00 PM and concluding at 2:00 PM.
