Kyson "KyKy" James McGuire

July 15, 2020 — December 3, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kyson "KyKy" James McGuire, our beloved son at the tender age of three on December 3, 2023. Kyson brought immense joy and love to those around him during his short time with us. His infectious laughter and warm cuddles will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Born on July 15, 2020, in Dallas, Texas, Kyson was a beacon of light from the moment he entered this world. Despite facing numerous health challenges throughout his life, Kyson proved to be a relentless fighter who never gave up. His resilience and strength served as an inspiration to everyone who crossed his path.

Kyson had a deep passion for superheroes and watching animated movies such as "Over The Moon," "Cocomelon," "Trolls," or "Paw Patrol." He found joy in simple pleasures like fuzzy socks, comfy blankets, and his beloved stars light and balloons. One could often find him snuggled up with his green dinosaur pillow or enjoying a relaxing bath. But above all else, Kyson loved having his head gently rubbed, which always brought a smile to his face.

Kyson's proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly his unwavering spirit. Despite the challenges throughout his entire life, he faced each day with bravery and determination.

The news of Kyson's passing leaves a void that cannot be filled. He will forever be missed by his mother Carissa Rucker and father Byron McGuire. Although he has departed from this world too soon, Kyson’s legacy lives on through the memories they shared together. Kyson's baby sister, on the way, will grow up hearing stories of her brave older brother and the love that surrounded him.

Kyson's memory will be forever cherished by his aunts and uncles Collin Rucker, Skyler and Allie, Robert and Toni, Trey and Trinity, Marquis, Baylee, Brooklyn, and Nathan. He also leaves behind his grandparents Amanda Morris, Teddy Rucker and wife Lauren, Kim McGuire, Roland Mullins and wife Cathy. In addition to them, Kyson will be deeply missed by his great-grandparents Rachel Morris and husband Michael, Carolyn Rucker, Pennie Bolton, Debbie McGuire, Vera Harris and Tutsa McGuire.

While our hearts ache with grief at the loss of Kyson's bright light in our lives, we take solace in knowing that he is now at peace and has joined his family, James Trim, Jazmine Trim, Ray McGuire and Ella Pyle and they are all now with him in and in the arms of Jesus. We hold onto the memories of his infectious laughter and cherish the moments we spent with him.

A visitation to honor Kyson's life will take place on December 9th from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Anderson Clayton Funeral Home located at 301 W. Nash St Terrell, TX 75160. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life ceremony will be held from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.

Kyson brought light into this world with every smile he shared and every laugh he uttered. Although he may no longer be physically present among us, his spirit will forever remain alive in our hearts. As we say goodbye to a precious soul taken from us too soon, may we find solace in the beautiful memories he left behind.
