Julio Pedro Cruz

Julio Pedro Cruz, 68, of Kaufman, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 25th, 2023. He was born on December 20th, 1954, in Juarez, Chihuahua Mexico to Pedro and Juana Cruz.



In his earlier years Julio was a skilled welder who worked tirelessly to support his family. His work ethic was unmatched, and he took great pride in his trade.
Julio also enjoyed spending time with family - something he treasured above all else. When he wasn't working on weekends, he could be seen strumming his beloved guitar. Julio was a undoubtedly music lover and created memories that will last forever. When Julio wasn't playing music, he enjoyed working out and staying fit. Whether it was lifting weights or jogging. Moreover, he loved to mow the lawn meticulously every week; it was almost like a meditation ritual for him.

Julio will always be remembered for his kindness and generosity. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.



Julio is survived by his loving wife Lucia Cruz; brother David Cruz, his children Julio Pedro Cruz, Adrian Cruz, Griselda Ruiz, Myriam Cruz, Octavio Cruz, Ricardo Cruz, Lucia Escobedo, Ernesto Cruz, Jorge Cruz, Marisol Cruz and Brenda Cruz; as well as numerous grandchildren and other relatives.



He is preceded in death by his father Pedro Cruz; mother Juana Cruz; son Armando Cruz; brothers Juan Cruz and Manuel Cruz; sister Petra Cruz.

The funeral service for Julio Pedro Cruz will be held at Anderson Clayton Funeral Home located at 301 W Nash St in Terrell. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am followed by the funeral service at 1:00 pm. Julio will then be laid to rest at Kaufman City Cemetery located at 901 N Dallas St in Kaufman during a graveside service starting at 2:30 pm.
