Jorge Oswaldo Darquea

Our Beloved 94 year old Jorge O Darquea Rose to heaven to be with our lord and savior on January 5, 2024 from his home in Kemp, TX. Born January 1, 1930 to Mother Maria Francisca Jacome and Father Jose Antonio Darquea In Quito, Ecuador in South America.

Jorge Started Working at the age of 5 years old selling news papers and lotto tickets on the busy streets of Downtown Quito making Pennies to help his mother Feed Himself and 16 siblings. As a Teenager Jorge Learned Carpentry and Upholstery to make a better living,  Jorge loved the sport of soccer where he excelled to play professionally in Ecuador,  At 20 years of age. Jorge moved to Bogota Colombia and became a tailor with the guidance of his older brother Gustavo Povea, Jorge met his future wife  Aura Osorio in July 16,1962 and married a year later. They had six children together; Ricardo Rodrigo, Oswaldo, Sonia, Milton, Alex, in 1968 Jorge moved to the United States and within one year earned enough to Buy a house, car, airline tickets. Passports, resident visas to bring his family to the West Chicago Illinois. Working as a Tailor to support his family. In 1972 Jorge started working for General Mills where he was able to make a good wages to excess in the support of his family and worked until 2005 when he retired, 33 years. Jorge was a member of West Chicago Bible Church and raised his children with strong Christian principles and values. after retirement Jorge moved to Wylie Texas to be with his boys through 2019.

Jorge move to his Final residence in Kemp Texas at Cedar Creek Lake 2020  were he enjoyed the fresh air and calming of the lake life. He loved nature. Jorge took his journey to be with our Lord from the lake house in Kemp TX on January 5, 2024  after his last meal of his favorite food, golden grams with milk, Jorge was truly loved and will be truly missed,

Jorge was a beacon of inspiration to many throughout his life, His kindness to Help those in need was only overshadowed by his devotion to family. ,

Jorge is Survived by children Ricardo, Rodrigo, Milton, Alejandro, Fany, Sonia  his sister Theresa Ramirez, Step Daughters Nancy Rodriguez, Denise Atri and 27 Grand Children

His departure comes with great sorrow and comfort that he is with our lord in heaven. His Passing is gravely felt by his entire family and countless others who loved him deeply. The family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time
