Jon Anthony Southards, passed away on June 28, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. Born on February 26, 1987, in Fort Worth, TX, Jon was the beloved son of Dean Parker and Tona Southards-Naranjo.
From an early age, it was clear that Jon had a special gift for music. He nurtured this talent throughout his life and became incredibly skilled. Whether he was playing his trumpet, or playing the piano, Jon's melodic notes had the power to touch hearts and souls. His performances were not only a testament to his musical talent but also a reflection of his free spirit.
In addition to his musical abilities, Jon had an artistic flair that extended beyond the realm of music. Jon's, creativity knew no bounds, and he fearlessly danced to the beat of his own drum.
Jon will be remembered for his infectious laughter and mischievous sense of humor. He had a smile that could light up an entire room and knew how to make anyone laugh with his witty jokes and playful pranks. His warm-hearted nature endeared him to all who knew him, and he possessed a childlike heart that brought joy to those around him.
On December 15, 2017, Jon embraced Jesus Christ as his savior, finding peace and guidance in his spiritual journey and in April of 2021 Jon received the Holy Ghost. Also, becoming a father was one of Jon's proudest accomplishments to his beautiful daughter, Amelia Grace. He showered Amelia with unconditional love and cherished every moment they spent together. His love as a father was unparalleled, leaving behind memories that will forever be treasured.
Jon's memory will forever be held dear by his surviving parents, Dean Parker and Tona Southards-Naranjo, as well as his stepmother Marla Gentry, stepfather James Hoots, and his grandmother Doris Parker. He leaves behind his cherished daughter Amelia Grace Stuckey and siblings Ariana Parker and Adisyn Southards-Parker. Jon was also a beloved god-brother to Christian Clevenger and his uncle Ronnie "Scooby" Southards.
Although Jon is no longer with us, he joins those who have gone before him in the eternal embrace of heaven. He is preceded in death by Sallie Clarke and Richard Lederer (great-grandparents), Charles Southards (grandfather), Earl Parker (grandfather), Laura Wood (grandmother), Kyle Parker (brother), Natasha Southards-Fuentez (baby sister), Brandy Garcia (aunt), they have reunited in a place where love knows no bounds.
Jon's memory will live on through the numerous cousins, friends, and loved ones he leaves behind. His infectious spirit, love for music, and ability to bring laughter into the lives of others will forever be etched in our hearts.
