Janet Sue Keeling (Thompson)

Janet Sue Thompson Keeling was born in 1946 to John L. Thompson and Ima Jean Thompson. Upon graduation she went to work for American National Bank of Texas in Terrell, Texas where she dedicated 20 years of hard work and dedication. She married Gough Grubbs in 1974 and welcomed their daughter Heather Leigh Grubbs in 1979 and became a homemaker, her chosen path in life. In 1984 her second daughter Lindsay Morgan Grubbs was born.

Janet moved to Houston, Texas in 1987 where she met some wonderful lifelong friends.

In 1997 she married Bobby Glenn Keeling and moved to Longview, Texas and became employed with Texas Bank and Trust until her retirement in 2020.

Janet loved spending time with her family and taking care of her home. The highlight of her life was her two grandchildren Madison Marie Black and Jaxton Carter Black.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents, John Lemuel Thompson and Ima Jean Thompson, sister Judy Healey of Mabank, TX and brother Danny Thompson of Terrell, TX.

She is survived by her loving husband Bobby Glenn Keeling of Longview, TX, daughter Heather Leigh Grubbs and fiancé Cris Christian of Chandler, TX, Lindsay Black and husband CJ Black of Rockwall, TX and her grandchildren Madison and Jaxton Black.
