James Odell Morris

James "Odell" Morris, passed away on October 23, 2023, in Seagoville, Texas. He was born on November 25, 1946, in Terrell, Texas.

Throughout his life, Odell was a dedicated handyman who worked tirelessly to help others with repairs and maintenance. He approached his work with a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism. After many years of hard work and dedication, he eventually retired.

Odell had a genuine passion for dogs and found immense joy in playing with them. His love and compassion for furry friends knew no bounds. Odell's kindness towards dogs touched the hearts of many.

Odell was preceded in death by his father, Ham Morris Jr., his mother, Louise Culberson Morris.

He is survived by his brother Larry Morris of Kaufman, TX; sister-in-law Becky Morris of Kaufman, TX; brother Jeff Morris of Seagoville, TX; niece Shelly Dahmes of Rockwall, TX; great nephew Trey Dahmes from Minnesota; niece Jennifer Bonner of Forney, TX; nephew Jon Bonner of Forney, TX; great-niece Crislyn Bonner of Kaufman, TX; great nephew Daniel Jones of Kaufman, TX; great niece Micheala Jones from Kaufman, TX ; great-great-nephew Creed Jones from Kaufman, TX ; great niece Brook Bonner from Forney, TX ; niece Kristen Kubat from Richardson, TX ; great nephews Dayne Kubat and Degan Kubat both from Dallas, TX; and great nephew Kaden Kubat, also from Dallas, TX.

Odell's family and friends will forever cherish the memories they shared with him. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Through his dedication to his work, his love for animals, and his unwavering kindness towards others.

On Monday, October 30, 2023, a graveside service will be held to honor and remember Odell at Kaufman City Cemetery located at 901 N Dallas St, Kaufman, TX 75482. The service will commence at 11:00 AM.
