Deborah "Debbie" Hampton Liles, 63, of Terrell, Texas passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior surrounded by family on May 22, 2022. Debbie was born on October 24, 1958 to parents Gerald Wayne Olive and Mildred Darlene Sperry in Dallas, Texas. On August 25, 1975 she married her beloved husband, Bobby Liles, in Dallas, Texas. Debbie attended Skyline High School in Dallas, TX.
Debbie worked as a freight broker and owner of Dallas Fast Freight for more than a decade. She continued to serve as a freight broker and dedicated customer service representative until retiring in 2020.
Debbie was a faithful member of Shepherd House Family Church where she cooked breakfast for the Sunday School attendees for many years. Debbie loved to care for animals, cooking for family and church events, attending music concerts, spending time outdoors, and enjoying time with her family.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband Bobby Liles, of Terrell, Texas; daughter Alisha Stone and husband Raymond Stone, Jr. of Wills Point, TX; three sisters: Kathy and husband Roger Mcelyea of Scurry, TX, Sara Willaford of Dallas, TX and Adalia Witthaus of Blue Ridge, TX; 2 grandson's Raymond Stone III and Jackson Stone; nieces and nephews: Tonya and husband Chris Ponder of Scurry, TX, Steven Liles of Scurry, TX, Nicole Liles of Crandall, TX, Josh Liles and wife Stephanie of Scurry TX, Jeremy Liles and wife Tonya of Oxley, AR, Kevin Henderson of Palestine, TX and Brittany Henderson of Palestine, TX, Spencer Willaford of Dallas, TX, Garrett Witthaus of Nevada, TX and Justene Potter of Grand Saline, TX along with many great nieces, great nephews and other extended family and friends.
Debbie was preceded in death by her mother Mildred Darlene Sperry, her stepfather Randy Hampton, grandfather Doyle Sperry, grandmother Laura Mozelle Williams and grandmother Mary Hampton.
Celebration of life will be held on May 27, 2022 at College Mound Methodist Church in Terrell, Texas. Visitation will begin at 1pm in the sanctuary with services to follow at 2pm. Graveside services will immediately follow at College Mound Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to fellowship, visit, and share a meal following the graveside service.
