Coy F. Allen Jr., passed away on September 10, 2023, at the age of 72 in Kemp, Texas. He was born on January 8, 1951, to Coy F Allen Sr. and Lilly Dodd Allen in Terrell, TX.

Coy, or better known as Teddy to most, led a fulfilling life which revolved around his passion for machining. He dedicated many years to his craft and eventually retired as a highly skilled machinist. Beyond his career achievements, Teddy had a vibrant personal life that was filled with diverse interests and hobbies. He loved the art of smoking briskets, finding joy in creating delicious meals that could be enjoyed by family and friends. In his free time, he found solace in riding motorcycles and walking his faithful dog companion. Family meant everything to Teddy, and he leaves behind his loved ones who will cherish their memories with him forever. Teddy was preceded in death by his beloved father, Coy F. Allen Sr., mother Lilly Dodd Allen, sister Carolyn Allen, uncle Joe Mac Dodd, nephew Samuel Downing, and Shelia Malinasky - the mother of his children.

Those left behind to honor Teddy's memory include his sister Charlotte Allen; Dianna Dionne Allen (daughter), Christopher Lynn Allen Sr. (son); Destiny Malinasky (granddaughter), Megan Boree (granddaughter), Tanner Rutledge (grandson), Gracie Rutledge (granddaughter), Tina Allen (granddaughter), Christopher Allen Jr. (grandson), Michael Allen (grandson), Shelia Allen (granddaughter); Brayden Morris (great grandnephew); Hailey Allen (great granddaughter); Charlie Malinasky (great grandson); Birdy Boree (great granddaughter); Thorin Rutledge (great grandson), Indy Boree (great granddaughter); Jenna Hackney (niece), Laura Laney (niece), and Richard Downing (nephew). He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Cynthia Allen.

Teddy will be remembered as a dedicated machinist, a lover of great food and motorcycles, and most importantly, a devoted family man. His kind heart and sharp wit will forever bring a smile to those who had the privilege of knowing him.
