Carol Sue Smith, 86 of Mabank, TX went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. She was a loving and devoted mother and granny who loved spending time with her family. She was a Baptist by faith and an amazing prayer warrior. Carol was a wonderful cook and enjoyed family holidays together. Which included teaching the grandkids how to play poker. She will be dearly missed by all of those who loved her.
Carol was proceeded in death by her parents Ira Jack and Helen Church; husband Larkin Clyde Smith Jr.; Sisters Jeanann Browning, Marilyn Simmons and Peggy Ahrens; son-in-law Roger Williams.
She was survived by her son Steve Smith and wife Debbie of Mabank, TX, daughter Dianna Williams of Mabank, TX, Connie Williams and husband Ron of Mabank, TX, Cindy Butler and husband Jimmy of Mabank, TX and Kim Eubanks and husband David of Mabank, TX. Grandchildren: Dana Lusk, Cari Busby and husband Richard, Erin Guillory, Tony Poole and wife Emily, Zachary Smith and wife Heidi, Rachel Travis and husband Matt, Ronda Bacy and husband Lamont, Kortni Harris and husband Nick, Ami Butler, Jimmy Butler Jr. and wife Allayna, Stephen Smith, Emily DeKoch and husband Michael, Allyson Rhys and husband David, Whitni Eubanks, David Eubanks III, Brandon Westbrook, Kelsey Westbrook, Ryan Westbrook and wife Sam. Great grandchildren: Aubri Busby, Kason Busby, Abby Busby, Alex Bates, Mallory Lusk, Addison Rose, Cain Guillory, Anthony Guillory, McKenzie Smith, Larkin Smith, Hadley Travis, Krayger Travis, Maison Matthews, Landon Bacy, Marek Bacy, Maddox Bacy, Mia Bacy, Riggs Harris, Reider Harris, Tess Tomlin, Lawson Tomlin, Caroline DeKoch, Evelyn DeKoch, Edison Rhys, Emma Westbrook, Jack Westbrook and Gracie Westbrook. Great great grandchildren: Brody Fields, Kai McKinney and McKinna Hays. So grateful for the wonderful friendships at the Country Place Living in Canton, TX, who took such great care of Miss. Sue.
