Alex N. Araiza Sr., (Hondo), passed away on September 11, 2023, in Dallas, TX. He was born on August 28, 1964, in Dallas, TX, to his beloved parents, Pete L. Araiza and Frances N. Araiza.
Throughout his life, Alex worked diligently as a material coordinator for T U Electric. He was a dependable individual who always went above and beyond to ensure the smooth operation of work projects. Outside of work, Alex had a zest for life that was truly infectious. He had a diverse range of interests and hobbies that brought him great joy. Whether it was belting out tunes at karaoke nights or spending peaceful hours in nature while hunting or fishing, Alex embraced every moment with enthusiasm and a genuine sense of happiness.
Alex's warm smile and kind heart touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy as a dedicated and loving family man, and a true friend will forever inspire those whose lives he enriched. Alex's love for the Lord was evident in every aspect of his life. His deep faith guided him to be a compassionate and caring individual who always extended a helping hand to those in need. Whether it was lending an ear to listen or providing support and encouragement, Alex had an innate ability to make others feel valued and loved. On his journey through life, Alex cherished the love and support of his family and friends. He leaves behind a trail of beautiful memories that will forever be treasured. He is survived by his wife Ellen Araiza of Dallas, TX, his brothers Eracio Rodriguez of Royse City, TX and Pete Araiza of Gun Barrel, TX. Alex's children brought immense pride and joy into his life. His son Kyle Hester Araiza resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Catherine Araiza, and her husband Adrian Moncada of Terrell, TX, son, Alex Araiza, and his wife Tiffanie Araiza of Dallas, TX, daughter Aurora Byrd, and her husband Jeffrey Bryd from The Colony, TX. Alex's grandchildren Isabella, Damon, Adrian, Dakota, Ariel, Ella, Amelia, Sadie, Elizabeth, Emma, Alex III, Juliana, Jeanette, Dianna, Addison, Araia held a special place in his heart. Alex will be missed by his mother-in-law Catherine Garvin and his father-in-law Lewis Garvin. Alex is preceded in death by his father Pete L Araiza and mother Frances N Araiza. Sister Yolanda Stone, and nephew Michael Stone.
In this time of grief and loss for the Araiza family and all those close to Alex, it is important to remember the love and light he brought into the world. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
